The 2016 ITT Mike James Memorial Classic will be held on Sept. 30 & Oct.1 2016 on the Ohio River at Paducah KY. Utilizing the TN River, Cumberland River, and Ohio River system.
Classic qualifiers should review the 2016 rules in reguards to the off-limits and official practice times (see below practice and off limits) There will be an additional rule for the use of locks on the river system. Participants will be allowed one lock, either up to Smithland Pool or down to Metropolis, locking into KY Lake or Barkley Lake will NOT be allowed.

PRACTICE AND OFF LIMITS: CLASSIC-For the ITT Classic, off limit time begins at 12:01am Sept.17 thru Sept. 23, 2016. Official practice will begin at 12:01am Sept 24, 2016 on the Classic body of water, or any water that can be reached by marine vessel from Host Lake. Official competition days for the Classic will be Friday September 30th and Saturday October 1st , at their respective location. The No Information rule applies to all qualified teams beginning 12:01am Saturday September 17, 2016 before the Classic, thru the conclusion of the ITT Classic on Oct.1, 2016. During the off –limits, competitors may not receive any fishing, lake, location or other information from any non-competitor. During the off-limits, there will be no hiring of guides or no purchasing or bartering of any fishing locations or information. These questions will be addressed in the polygraph concluding the ITT Classic.
Days Inn is the host housing for the event. When making your reservations, mention that you are with the Illini Team Trail,to get set rate of $ 56.75 (50.00 plus taxes) a block of rooms is being held for our members. Days Inn, 3901 Hinkleville Rd, 270-442-7501.
Registration will be in the Cumberland Room (upper level) in the Paducah Convention Center
Registration will begin at 4pm on Sept 29 at the Paducah Convention and Expo Center,415 Park Ave. After registration, dinner will start at 5:30, followed by an awards presentation and tournament rules.
